The Rose Garden offers 91 self-contained apartments for affordable purchase, part purchase and rent with 15 health and leisure facilities on tap, for both residents and the wider community. They include: a fitness suite, restaurant, bar, shop, arts and crafts centre, community hall, greenhouse, woodwork shop, well-being centre, winter garden and computer suite.
Aqord Limited won the job for the design, supply, installation and commission the multi zone PA & BGM system.The main control equipment utilised an eight zone matrix unit, a professional 5 disc CD player and amplification for up to eight zones of 120 watts per zone.
Certain areas required a local music input, a facility panel was fitted,. The Village Hall, the Lounge Bar/ Coffee lounge (as a combined system) and the Fitness Suite. These panels incorporate an XLR microphone input with volume control, a dual phono socket line input with volume control for music sources and a priority select switch for giving the microphone input voice activated priority over the music input (useful for the fitness studio possibly). In addition, there is a select switch and volume control for selecting one of the six inputs of main rack music if required.
The Village Hall required a local rack. The rack contained a professional 5 disc CD player and a mixer unit with five dedicated microphone inputs and four inputs that can be selected to be microphone or line. We can use the later for the CD player, DVD, Video and laptop inputs.
The Fitness Suite loudspeakers are powered by the main control equipment, 5 disc CD player and a head worn radio microphone system. For the Street, we installed a low profile wall cabinet speaker at first floor level and ceiling speaker throughout the remaining areas of the project.
